How To Contour Your Face
Step 1: First clean and moisturize your skin properly. This is an essential step which you should not miss!
Step 2: Then, apply foundation which best matches your skin all over your face. For this purpose, it’s best to use one of our foundation brushes to help you even out your complexion.
Step 3: Now it’s time to contour! Using an angled contour brush, start by sculpting under the cheekbones and along the hairline. Sweep your contour brush from your ear towards your nose. But, you can also contour anywhere you want to create extra definition - think down the sides of your nose to slim or along the jawline or around the eye sockets.
Step 4: Remember when you’re contouring, a contrasting highlight will double the impact. Using a fan brush highlight with a colour one or two shades brighter than your face so finish your look by highlighting along the cheek, brow bones and lightly across the forehead and nose to brighten your skin to give a radiant glow.
Step 5: To add a bit of extra depth you can use your Blush Brush, gently dab a little blush onto your cheekbone, the tip of your nose, your chin and your forehead.
Step 6: Always apply bronzer in the shape of the number three, going from your temple to your cheekbone and then finishing off with your jawline. When bronzer hits those three high points of your face, you’ll look contoured and sun-kissed. If your brush is too small or stiff, it may cause blotches and streaks to form when you apply the bronzer.
Step 7: Take a large fluffy brush such as our Powder Brush to blend the makeup in until there is no visible line between the lighter and darker colours.
Step 8: Set with a powder brush such as our Professional Powder Brush and add just a bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks.
Step 9: Now all you need to do is to continue with your makeup routine, such as your eye makeup, brows and lippy!
